Move Advisory: consulting, accounting and operation in Brazil for foreign companies and investors

We open the company, handle the accounting and the obligations every month and follow the registrations that Brazil requires. One team, in São Paulo, with reports for the parent company.

  • Since 2017 in São Paulo
  • 5.0 on Google

Move Advisory is the consulting arm of Move Online, working across accounting, tax and corporate structuring. Technical responsibility for accounting lies with Wanderson Pires Almeida, founding partner and accountant (CRC SP 280216/O-0). Tax consulting and corporate structuring are led by Dra. Ana Miliane Gomes.

What we do

01Company incorporation

Structure, documents of the foreign partner, Commercial Registry, taxpayer number, city registrations and the registration of foreign capital with the Central Bank. See the guides on opening a company, apostille and power of attorney and the SCE-IED.

02Business consulting

The choice of structure and tax regime, and the flow of money between Brazil and the parent: dividends, licences, services between group companies. We compare the routes with your numbers. See the guide on remittances and the calculator.

03Accounting and BPO

Accounting, tax, payroll and administrative routines handled by us, on a fixed monthly calendar, with reports for the parent company. See the guide on accounting and BPO.

04Tax and compliance risk management

A review of the Brazilian company's situation: obligations, declarations and points that can lead to fines, with a plan to correct them. See the guide on transfer pricing.

05Business account

The Brazilian company's account on the same platform as the accounting (Conta Move), for Move clients with an active taxpayer number: Pix, TED and billing by Pix, boleto or card, with no monthly fee. See the guide on the business account.

06Registered address

An address in São Paulo to register the company and receive tax correspondence, when the foreign partner has no address in Brazil. See the guide on the registered address.

07Regulation

We follow the registrations that the activity requires: Central Bank, professional council, city hall and, in healthcare, the sector registrations. We tell you what is needed and in what order, and we handle the Brazilian side. See the guide on regulatory registrations.

08Taxes and treaties

Withholding on payments to the parent, the effect of tax treaties and the Brazilian rules on dividends and licences. See the guides on dividends, software licences and tax treaties.

Who does what

Everything that concerns your country stays on your side: the decisions of the parent, the documents issued abroad and the taxation at home. Everything that is regulation and routine in Brazil is ours.

How we start

Phase 1Diagnosis

A report with the structure, the tax regime, the sector rules, the flow of money and the costs.

Phase 2Incorporation

Registrations, foreign capital and the Brazilian bank account.

Phase 3Operation

Accounting, obligations and reports on a fixed calendar.

Third-party costs, such as registry fees, apostilles, sworn translations and notary fees, are passed through at cost. Final fees are confirmed after the diagnosis. Our page on opening a company with a local team describes the three phases in detail.

Who it is for

  • Companies and investors that will open a company in Brazil, or already have one and want to change accounting provider.
  • Groups that need to bring results back to the parent, in a way that is documented and predictable.
  • Healthcare companies, clinics and platforms, which are our specialty, and companies from other sectors.

Guides and tools

Our guides explain each topic with its legal basis. The remittance calculator estimates the tax on dividends, software licences and capital returns. Our pocket guide brings the main points together in one PDF.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work in English?

Yes. We serve clients in English, Spanish and European Portuguese.

Do you only serve healthcare companies?

No. Healthcare is our specialty, and we serve companies from other sectors too.

How long does it take to open a company?

For a simple structure, we plan 45 to 90 days. The timing depends mainly on the apostille issued in your country, the sworn translation and, depending on the activity, the professional council.

How much does it cost?

It depends on the structure and on the sector. We confirm the fees after the diagnosis, and third-party costs are passed through at cost.
